Roundup Lawsuit
The main ingredient in Roundup weed killer is linked to Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and other types of blood cancer.
Why are people suing Roundup's manufacturers?
Roundup weed killer was first created by the Monsanto Company, which was later acquired by Bayer in 2018. For many years, Roundup was primarily made with the ingredient glyphosate—a massively popular herbicide that has faced decades of scrutiny about potentially being linked to an increased risk of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL), a type of blood cancer.
The Roundup lawsuit began gaining traction in 2015, when the IARC classified glyphosate as “probably carcinogenic to humans” after reviewing existing research data. Then in 2019, a meta-analysis from University of Washington found that long-term users, even when wearing proper safety gear, could be up to 41% more likely to develop NHL than people who’ve never used Roundup at all.
After receiving thousands of lawsuits from agricultural workers and gardeners with blood cancer, Bayer/Monsanto removed the original version of Roundup (containing glyphosate) from U.S. stores in 2023. Though the version with glyphosate is still sold in international markets and used for industrial purposes, it can no longer be purchased in stores like Lowe’s and Home Depot.

If you were diagnosed with any of the following cancers after frequent Roundup exposure, you may be able to qualify for significant compensation. An immediate family member may also begin a claim for a loved one who passed away.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to state-issued statute of limitations laws, and the Roundup lawsuit’s strict eligibility guidelines, we currently cannot accept cases for those diagnosed before the year 2016.

Roundup Lawsuit FAQs
If Roundup is linked to cancer, why is it still being sold?
The U.S. government has not yet taken action to halt Roundup sales. But in early 2023, Bayer and Monsanto began replacing the original formula linked to cancer with a new “exclusive formula” in U.S. retail stores. As of 2026, most of the country should be receiving the new version of Roundup made without glyphosate. However, there are currently no plans to alter the formulas used internationally or for industrial purposes.
Do any cancers other than lymphoma and leukemia qualify?
Unfortunately, no. Only the cancer types above are eligible for assistance with the Roundup lawsuit. Though lung cancer, multiple myeloma, mesothelioma, and some other cancers could possibly be caused by Roundup exposure, there is not yet enough academic research or sufficient evidence to support these claims. However, this may change in the future as more academic studies are published.
How much can I expect to win for a Roundup settlement?
We unfortunately cannot provide an estimated compensation amount without knowing the specific details of your case, since each case is unique. However, Roundup settlements are typically awarded based on the following factors—which include, but are not limited to:
- The severity of the victim’s cancer diagnosis
- The amount of damages sustained (medical bills, lost wages, etc)
- The strength of the victim’s case (how much evidence they have)
- The place of exposure (at home vs. in a professional setting)
- The victim’s age (younger victims tend to receive more)
